Inauguration of the new Deauville–Marrakech link
On Thursday, October 23Airport Deauville-Normandie inaugurated a new direct route to Marrakech, operated by Transavia .This
launch marks a new step in the development of the network of destinations offered from the airport.
A first flight celebrated with the passengers
For this inaugural flight, passengers were welcomed in the terminal with an oriental-inspired buffet, reflecting the destination.
Before boarding, each passenger also received a souvenir magnet, a symbol of this first departure to Morocco.
The flight took off with 117 passengers on board, demonstrating the interest in this new destination.
Strengthening ties between Normandy and Morocco
With the opening of this route to Marrakech, Deauville-Normandie Airport continues to develop its range of destinations and contributes to strengthening tourism between Normandy and Morocco.
